Editing journal articles and conference papers

Academic editing

Writing journal articles, conference papers and book chapters are all part of academic life. Publication is very competitive and many journals and professional organisations have very strict and particular requirements for submission and publication.

If you need assistance or support through the process, contact me and we can discuss what needs to be done to give you the very best chance of being accepted for publication. Assistance can be at the very end to have ‘fresh eyes’ check for consistency errors, punctuation, clarity, correct cross referencing, and so on, or it can be more substantial assistance, for example, if any parts of your argument that seem unclear. I will check that you’ve followed all the journal’s instructions, including referencing styles. I have experience with a range of different academic publishers, with different referencing systems (e.g. APA7, Harvard, Oxford) and I know the tricks to make sure that your ideas come across as clear and succinct.
